A Temporary Post
It's frustrating knowing I've have a domain for almost a year now (November) and yet it hasn't officially opened. Though I do have some sites already running on it, personally-owned or not. The last thing I need is another node to my decentralized network, another distraction. But I do like trying things out, and Mia-cha' invited me here.
Anyway, let's get several things straight first:
- This is a SixApart service.
- SixApart made TypePad, which I don't use because I don't like paid services much, and LiveJournal, which I, uh, don't like, period (see #3).
- I H-A-T-E and L-O-A-T-H-E LiveJournal. Don't let me try to explain it.
- Therefore it is natural to be wary of a service that doesn't really allow you to customize stuff, like LiveJournal. Like Vox.
- But Vox already sounds nice, and it already looks nice and it makes sure you don't screw up.
- So, I hope I might find something useful for my account here (as with my Multiply or my LJ--that I currently refuse to use--or my Wordpress.com).
In the meantime, I'd like to invite you to try out Faqqly (invite link here). I think it's a great way to learn things and keep in touch with friends. :) EDIT: Keiko Agena (Gilmore Girls) is on Faqqly! How cool is that?

I like it so much. Last night I was actually contemplating writing a review or something for it.
And then I started thinking of who I could invite and I realized people are just on Friendster because "everyone else is" and therefore it might not make sense to invite them until more brave and enterprising souls join Faqqly.
(Dang, you might beat me to it... This is definitely on my list on Qwerky... but I don't have time to write a post, or five! Ack!)
Yeah, that's true. I wonder how people will respond to it here in the Philippines. I've seen Faqqly before but wasn't encouraged that much to join perhaps because of that reason. But when I *did* join out of curiosity, you instantly have a new friend and a new question. I guess that makes it feel nicer, to know that you're not alone there.
Yeah, and...!
Gah, you know what, I will. Only, Stranje isn't suited to review stuff so I guess I'll be doing it on... Impassionata? Aaaaagh I don't know. I need a blog redesign soon. Sem break is so far away.
